These Low-Carb Coconut Chips are easy to make, delicious, and the flavour options are endless! We’re sharing three of our favourite ways to enjoy this healthy, gluten-free snack. These Low-Carb Coconut Chips are also keto and Whole30 friendly.
There’s a new snack in town, and we’re lovin’ it. It’s got crunch. It’s got roasty toastiness. It’s simple to make. And if you’re following a keto diet, doing a Whole30, or are living a paleo/whole food lifestyle, these Coconut Chips will become your new best (snack) friend.
Whether you want spicy or sweet, these Coconut Chips are super simple to make. They’re made with dried coconut ribbons and a little coconut oil (or water), and are flavoured with whichever spice blend fits your fancy. Everything is mixed together, toasted in the oven for about five minutes, and…that’s it. You’re done!
Although the flavour options are endless with these Coconut Chips, we’re sharing three of our faves:
- Enjoy the flavours of the classic BBQ chip? We gotcha!
- Craving a hint of sweetness? You’ll love the cinnamon Coconut Chips.
- Looking for an anti-inflammatory grab-and-go snack? Turmeric + sea salt + black pepper for the win!
Lets start with the turmeric. Not only are they a gorgeous and vibrant yellow, these savoury Coconut Chips pack a spicy kick along with some anti-inflammatory punch. Turmeric, a well-known superfood, is absorbed by the body best when combined with black pepper and a healthy fat. Check and check!
Then we’ve got cinnamon: warm and comforting with a natural hint of sweetness.
We love using Ceylon (or “true”) cinnamon in our kitchen because it’s packed with antioxidants and is another awesome ingredient that helps reduce inflammation in the body. There’s no need to add any additional sweetener to these cinnamon Coconut Chips – they’re perfect the way they are.
And lastly, BBQ. A combination of warm, peppery spices transform the coconut ribbons into a healthy snack that is reminiscent of the potato chip classic.
The beauty of these Coconut Chips? They’re so versatile! Salt and vinegar, garlic and herb, cocoa, or even chai – there are so many flavour options to help keep your snack game strong.
And now the tough question: which flavour will you make first?
